Tommy Tallarico
Founder / President / Chief Creative Officer

Tommy Tallarico is a veritable video game industry icon.  As one of the most successful video game composers in history, he has helped revolutionize the gaming world throughout his 30-year career. As a well-recognized on-air television personality, live performer, show producer, creative director, game console President, sound designer, and composer, Tommy brings his in-depth knowledge, years of experience, and love of cutting edge multimedia and pop culture to the masses.  Tommy has worked in the gaming industry as a designer, product manager, producer, writer, hardware executive, a games tester, and head of both the music and video departments.  He produced, co-created, wrote, and co-hosted 3 internationally award-winning syndicated and network television shows as well as creating, producing, and hosting the worldwide live orchestra touring sensation Video Games Live.  Video Games Live is the first and most successful video game touring concert in the world having performed over 525 shows in 42 countries on 5 continents.  The debut performance was launched at the world-famous Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles with the LA Philharmonic.  Since then over 3 million people have experienced the show live.

Tommy has won over 50 industry awards and has worked on more than 300 game titles; to date, the total sales of more than 200 million units and over 10 billion dollars in revenue.  In 2008, he was enshrined in the Guinness Book of World Records and currently holds 5 Guinness World Records including the person who has worked on the most commercially released video games and the largest symphony show ever seen live (over 752,000 people in China).  In 2012 during the Game Developers Conference, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award and is also in the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C. for his contributions to the game industry.  In 2013 he was asked to speak at the TED Conference where he gave his very well received “Video Games – Art in Disguise” speech.  The IDG video game industry white paper mentions Tommy (along with Bill Gates) as one of the people who contributed the most to the advancement and growth of the industry in 2003.  In 2009, he received the prestigious "Ambassador Award" during the Game Developers Choice Awards which was only the 2nd time the award had ever been bestowed.  That same year he was chosen as one of the Top 50 Game Industry People by Game Developers Magazine.  ABC did a feature story in 2015 calling him the “person who changed the video game industry”.  


Tommy is the founder of the Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.), which is a non-profit organization educating and heightening the awareness of audio for the interactive world with over 2,500 members representing over 50 countries since its inception in 2002. Tommy is an Advisory Board member for the Game Developers Conference, a Governor for the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS/GRAMMY's), a spokesperson for the Entertainment Consumers Association, a proud member of the International Game Developers Association, and a nominating peer panel leader for the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences.  Tommy has consulted for Fortune 500 companies such as Intel, Sony, AMD, Microsoft, and Apple as well as audio companies including DTS, Dolby, Roland, THX, Yamaha, and Creative Labs.  

Tommy is a cousin of rock star legend Steven Tyler (nee Tallarico).


Phil Adam, Chief Executive Officer

Phil has been involved with the Computer and Video Game Industry since 1981 and has served on several industry boards including Chairman of the Software Publishing Association.  Phil was the Founder & President of Spectrum HoloByte from 1983 – 1990. Starting from 1990 Phil was the VP of Sales & Marketing for Interplay Productions before becoming VP of Business Development from 1993 – 2002. In 2002 Phil became the president & COO of Interplay and helped to take the company public. Phil has been involved in bringing over 350 Intellectual Properties to market including the biggest selling video game of all time…Tetris (original license with the then Soviet Union) at Spectrum HoloByte.  Other recognizable accomplishments include bringing Silicon and Synapses’ (Blizzard Entertainment) first products to market.  Phil also signed the first products with Bioware (Baldur’s Gate Series) as well as Parallax (Descent Series).  He was also responsible for the AD & D and Star Trek license deals for Interplay. He was involved in the sale of Shiny Entertainment to Atari as well as the sale of significant assets to Universal/Vivendi. Phil also brought Naughty Dog to Universal, for their first products which included Crash Bandicoot.


Hans Ippisch, President (Europe)

Hans Ippisch has been a leader in the video game industry since 1986. He is a former German game developer, computer game journalist and was the longtime CEO of Computec Media Group (CMG), the largest video games media company in Germany. He was also CEO of the CMG subsidiaries 4Players, Golem Media, Aruba Events, and CMS Media Services. In addition, he was a member of the Group Management Board of the Marquard Media Group, Switzerland, and a member of the board of the Association of Magazine Publishers in Bavaria (VZB).

Hans started his career in the gaming industry in 1986, founding the first game development studio in Bavaria and publishing 10 titles for C64 and Amiga between 1986 and 1991. In total his games sold more than 1 million units and won dozens of awards. While studying business informatics in Bamberg in 1991, he joined three guys at a startup company called Computec Media as a freelance writer. There he worked his way up to become CEO of the company and ultimately becoming Germany's biggest gaming media house. He transformed a traditional publisher to a leading digital media company with a reach of 10 million users and 300 employees. As editor in chief, he launched the market leading magazines PlayStation Zone, N-Zone, Sega Magazine and Xbox Magazine, he was publisher of Making Games Magazine and GamesIndustry.biz Germany and founded devcom, Europe’s biggest games developer conference. In November 2018 Hans returned to his game developer roots – becoming President of European Operations of Intellivision Entertainment, overseeing all European sales and marketing activities including the production of exclusive Intellivision Amico games in Europe.

Broad experience in packaging software companies for sale with four sell-side acquisition transactions, two to public companies.


Rob Johnson, CMO

Robert has consistently demonstrated the ability to drive strategy and deliver growth across diverse industry/business models, both large and small, corporate and start-up. He was a key TaylorMade Adidas executive co-authoring and executing a McKinsey driven turnaround plan to reduce overhead and product costing, as well as lead strategy and execution of all sales and commercial initiatives leading to being acquired. Further, he created the first trade marketing department to strengthen partnerships with top revenue customers and established a sophisticated consumer research group to strengthen communication strategy to current and potential consumers. He also has gained a solid global market perspective by teaming with the managing directors of the five TaylorMade-Adidas regions, covering all major markets worldwide, and building highly effective, well-coordinated global teams.

Most recently, Robert was the President of Consumer Electronics leader mophie from 2017 – 2019. During his tenure he formally established and lead the dedicated Business Unit from $170MM to $250MM+ (and to double-digit EBITDA) by focusing on growing the product portfolio, brand position, global distribution, and profitability.

Robert was an Executive Vice President at Taylormade-Adidas Golf Company, a leading manufacturer of high-performance golf equipment that was sold to a private equity firm in September 2017. In this role, reporting to the CEO and leading a global team of 30+, he oversaw all TaylorMade golf products from ideation, planning, budgeting, execution, design, production, lifecycle, and financials. He was a key executive leading the company to reposition and relaunch a new corporate culture initiative, successfully achieve all financial goals − and was a member of the Executive Team that completed the successful divestiture of TaylorMade from Adidas and subsequent transaction to new private equity ownership. Specifically selected achievements include implementing a portfolio diversification plan that increased top and bottom-line growth >20%, increasing international market percent of sales ratio by 10 points, and developing a plan to re-establish a direct-to-consumer e-commerce group. In earlier career Taylormade-Adidas roles, Robert was Senior Director of Innovation and Director of Marketing (U.S.) & Global Brand.

From 2009 to 2015, prior to being recruited back to his most recent EVP role at Taylormade, Robert was founder and CEO of The Hive Collective, Inc., a marketing and design agency, where he started up, fully staffed, and set up back-office operations for two offices. Here, he supported clients (including Taylormade-Adidas) with high-level strategy work through asset development of creative solutions that included e-commerce, advertising, media planning, retail SIS and POP, PR/ communications, and product development/design.

He started his career in both agency and client-side marketing consulting, working with clients on branding and strategy, advertising and positioning, direct response, CRM, and communication strategy/execution.


Jason Enos, VP of Business Development

Jason Enos brings 25+ years of experience encompassing different facets of the interactive entertainment and music industries and is considered one of the best video game producers/product managers/marketers in the world having worked on such acclaimed award-winning top 10 industry franchises and multi-million selling brands as Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania, Contra, Dance Dance Revolution, PAC-MAN, Silent Hill, Tekken, Ace Combat, Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, Dark Souls, Monopoly, Karaoke Revolution and 100+ more across every major platform. With his robust and unique experience, he provides guidance across the entire spectrum of creative, design, production, marketing, and publishing.

Jason was formerly the Director, Brand & Latin America Marketing for Bandai Namco Entertainment, Inc. Since joining the company in 2010, he rose through the organization working across console, digital and mobile businesses while also driving efforts for the company’s strategic initiatives of anime, digital and Latin America expansion.

Jason was previously a Senior Product Manager for the casual games division at Electronic Arts, Inc. where he focused on leveraging mass appealing brands across multiple platforms for a broad demographic. Jason was also a Senior Product Manager for Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. where he successfully persuaded the company and was solely responsible for bringing Dance Dance Revolution to the console gaming market in North America, turning the franchise from zero to $250+ million in revenue and winning numerous awards, including an a MTV Video Music Award for Best Video Game Soundtrack. Jason has also worked for Psygnosis, Ltd., and Sega of America.


Bill Fisher, VP, Technology

William Fisher is president and founder of independent studio Quicksilver Software, Inc., developer of dozens of well-known games including Interplay’s Castles, Conquest of the New World, and Star Trek: Starfleet Command. He is one of the first generations of video game designers, having started with Mattel Electronics/Intellivision in 1981. Bill was instrumental in bringing the very first “voice” to a video game with his work on B-17 Bomber for the IntelliVoice. He also wrote two other Intellivision games and headed up Mattel’s Apple II and IBM PC teams. His interests range from strategy game development to simulation-based training and artificial intelligence design to usability and user interface design. He is currently responsible for guiding the development of the company’s cloud-related projects and for the security systems used in the console, cloud services, and physical media.

Outside of Intellivision, he is pioneering new robot technologies as CTO of robotics company Beyond Imagination, Inc., and is active in many IEEE-related activities, including chairing the GameSIG and the GameSIG Intercollegiate Game Showcase. He also served for several years on the Program Committee for the IEEE Games Innovation Conference and as a leader of the IEEE 2200 Standards Committee. He is also on the Curriculum Advisory Committee for the Chapman University School of Engineering.


John Alvarado, Chief Technology Officer

John Alvarado has 30+ years in the video game industry as a developer, programmer, entrepreneur, and technology director. He entered the video game industry right out of high school in 1983, creating artwork and programming for the Atari 800 and Commodore 64 with popular arcade games like Centipede and Mario Bros. John was Lead Programmer at Virgin Games where he helped develop the DigiCel technology used in the hit game Disney's Aladdin, and where he was the recipient of a game design award from 3DO for Demolition Man, the first game where Hollywood actors shot custom video footage to be used exclusively in the game. John went on to be the president and co-founder of Big Grub, developing PC and PlayStation games and working with Shiny Entertainment and Interplay. Those successful relationships led to John working for 13+ years as Technical Director under industry legend Brian Fargo at inXile Entertainment. John has 30+ published games, including high-profile games on the first generation home video game computers.


Mike Dietz, Art Director

Mike Dietz is a 30+ year multi-disciplined award-winning developer/art director/animator with experience in a variety of media ranging from games to television to film, working in a wide array of animation techniques including CG, hand-drawn, stop motion, and mixed media. With key creative roles on 50+ game titles for studios such as Virgin Games, Shiny Entertainment, Disney/Pixar, The Collective, Heavy Iron Studios, and FoxNext, Dietz set the benchmark for animation quality on such highly successful video game titles as Disney’s Aladdin, Jungle Book, Earthworm Jim and the stop motion animated cult classic The Neverhood. Dietz served as a director on the award-winning animated sitcom The PJs, co-directed the short Squirly Town for Nickelodeon’s Random Cartoon Show, and was a lead animator on multiple stop motion TV episodes including Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob, The Legend of Boo-kini Bottom, It’s a SpongeBob Christmas! and Harvey Beaks, It’s Christmas You Dorks! Mike was also the key artist and developer for the groundbreaking interactive theme park attraction Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL.


Sumeet Aggarwal, Managing Director MENA & South Asia

Sumeet Aggarwal has been an avid gamer and an influential gaming specialist in the industry for over 15 years. He has worked with Microsoft-Xbox Gulf as part of the marketing team, aiding to launch the Xbox 360 along with the Kinect. He also hosted and produced the successful and heavily awarded gaming radio show, Game On, on Dubai Eye 103.8 for more than 10 years, where he had the only exclusive one-on-one radio interview with the acclaimed, Mr. Hideo Kojima, in the region.
